LP SUPPORT Hot/Cold Back and Shoulder Wrap 798
What injuries is this hot/cold wrap suitable for?
The LP 798 Hot/Cold Back and Shoulder Wrap is ideal for relieving pain and reducing the swelling of shoulder or back injuries.
How does the LP 798 Hot/Cold Back and Shoulder Wrap work?
The neoprene wrap contains a gel filled bag which can be frozen or warmed in hot water or the microwave to apply soothing heat.
By reducing swelling and increasing blood flow to your shoulder or back you can recover faster after an injury.
To chill: Simply remove the gel pack from the brace and place in the freezer for 2-3 hours for maximum cooling effect, refreezing after use generally takes about an hour or so.
To heat: Boil 2-3 quarts of water, remove from heat and submerge gel pack in water, leave for 5 minutes to absorb the maximum amount of heat.
Alternatively, in a microwave-safe bowl, submerge the brace in 2-3 quarts of room temperature water and heat for 2-3 minutes, if not sufficiently hot, microwave in 15 second intervals until desired temperature is reached. Be careful when removing heated pack as it will be VERY HOT
***USE CAUTION, NEVER BOIL GEL PACK***
Place the heated or cooled pack into one of the two inner pockets and strap the brace onto your shoulder.
Generally you will not want to apply heat or cold to an injury for more than 20 minutes at a time.
All wraps are washable and can be air dried.
Supplied with one reusable hot/cold gel pack.
