The LP Support open patella knee wrap is made of a combination of high quality materials, neoprene for heat retention and durability; stretch nylon for flexibility and comfort; and reinforced neoprene at patella opening for added cushioning and support without compressing the patella itself.

Note: Whilst this knee brace is designed to fit most people, the sizing guidelines given by the manufacturer are 12.5 - 16 inches around the knee, whilst in a standing position.

How does the LP Open Patella Knee Wrap work?

The thick neoprene retains much of your natural body heat, keeping the knee joint warm and fluid, promoting increased blood circulation. There are two adjustable Velcro straps above and below the knee which have multiple points of attachment for a fit that will not fall off or loosen over time. The straps allow you to fully adjust the fit of the brace against your leg for a custom fit, whether you want a looser fit for everyday wear or a tighter fit for exercise or game day. The reinforcing layer of neoprene at the patella opening gives you an added layer of cushioning and protection, while also keeping your knee in place and helping guide it properly through a normal flexion and extension. The open patella means that there is no compression on the patella itself, so you will not aggravate any current injuries. The wrap around style makes this support an ideal choice if a pull on style support is not appropriate.

To clean the wrap hand wash in cold water with a mild soap, rinsing thoroughly, and let air dry at room temperature. Do not machine wash or dry, do not dry clean and do not use bleach.
