    • How does the McDavid 196 Soccer Ankle Brace work?

    This Ankle Brace is a lightweight ankle support similar to the McDavid 199 Laced Ankle Brace but it is designed with a shortened forefoot to allow for easier fitting in to boots and to maintain the contact crucial to good ball handling. It is an excellent choice for Soccer players. The brace is laced up over socks to allow normal up and down flexion of the ankle but prevents lateral movement. The laces allow the user to control the amount of support needed, the tighter the brace, the more support it gives. The fabric is made from two layers of breathable polyester/vinyl mesh and has elastic inserts over the heel and tongue for comfort. It also features spring steel stays down the sides to provide additional support.
